RIS

Restaurant Intelligence System

Understand your restaurant. Improve how it works. Enable better performance.

RIS brings financial, operational, people, process, customer and business information together to identify what is happening, where attention is needed and what should be addressed first.

The business challenge

What May Be Holding Your Restaurant Back?

Revenue growing, but profitability not keeping pace?
Food, labour or prime cost difficult to control?
Customers not returning or recurring complaints not understood?
Staff performance or accountability unclear?
Stock, purchasing or wastage creating avoidable losses?
Processes inconsistent or too dependent on individuals?
Management information too slow, incomplete or manual?
Owner dependency making growth or continuity difficult?

Strong restaurant operations are the engine behind sustainable performance. RIS helps identify what is happening, what may be behind it, and what should be addressed first.

Three EASE services for restaurants
DIAGNOSE

Restaurant Business Health Check & Diagnostic

Assess financial, commercial, operational, people, customer, process and control performance; identify gaps, risks and opportunities; and provide practical recommendations and an action plan.

IMPROVE

Restaurant Process & Procedural Improvement

Review priority processes and strengthen SOPs, internal controls, responsibilities, policies, workflows, training and operational consistency.

ENABLE

Odoo & Digital Enablement

Where appropriate, EASE uses Odoo and other digital capabilities to strengthen workflows, automate processes, improve management information and support control.

RIS Diagnostic levels

Start small, or go deeper.

RIS follows the two EASE diagnostic levels. Level 1 is the first stage of Level 2, so a restaurant can start with a Perspective Review and continue without repeating anything.

LEVEL 1 | RIS

Perspective Review

Owner and staff questionnaires, plus an analysis of public reviews of the restaurant as a workplace, of its team and of its service. We compare what you, your team and the public say, and report where you agree and differ.

LEVEL 2 | RIS

Full Diagnostic

Level 1, plus a review of your SOPs and policies, two years of financial statements and a visit to the restaurant. Each point is cross-checked against the evidence, and you receive a full report with findings, causes, recommendations and an action plan.

Important: RIS Diagnostic is a diagnostic service. Execution of improvements, development of SOPs, internal control procedures, process implementation and technology implementation are separate EASE services unless separately agreed.
How RIS works

From evidence to practical action.

Questionnaire responses are inputs, not conclusions. Steps 1 to 5 make up Level 1. Level 2 adds steps 6 to 10. The RIS questions are guided by published research.
